I first tried yoga purely to increase my strength and flexibility, not realising the life-enhancing journey it would lead me on. Being naturally energetic, I surprised myself with being drawn to the quiet and contemplative practices of Hatha and Yin. Striving for authenticity, I completed my first yoga teacher training living with a family in a small town in India. Having yoga passed down to me as it had been passed down to them. I’ve since taking further teacher trainings including a 200-hour intensive in Costa Rica, 50-hour Yin at YYoga, Canada.
I have always been one to utilise audio guided meditations, and my deeper dive into mindfulness occurred during the pandemic, where it became a daily practice that has turned into a lifestyle. I have received these as gifts and in turn aim to gift others. And apparently, I have a good voice for it!
When it comes to leading yoga, whether a gentle or strong practice, it is always a slow flow, always mindful and always there to support your intentions. I encourage a playful approach with curiosity and acceptance to explore the body, mind and spirit.
Mondays: 7am Power
Tuesdays: 8pm YHot
Thursdays: 8pm YHot
Power: Prepare to sweat! Builds strength and endurance through a challenging sequence of grounding postures with longer holds. May include arm balances and inversions, room is heated to 32° C
YHot: YYoga’s signature hot style. An intelligent sequence of slow, held postures practiced in a 40° C room with an emphasis on alignment, core stability, and breathwork.
All classes are open level!
I also offer 1:1, fully personalised and catered to your level, goals and intentions. I can come to your location or meet you via video.
